Satio & Aino pulled due to software issues

The troubled manufacturer Sony Ericsson once known for its excellent reliability and camera technology has been plagued by software issues which has seen its latest devices pulled off the shelves by both Carphone Warehouse & Phones 4U. Both devices have been reported the be suffering from software issues ranging from freezing to the device resetting itself.

Sources close to Sony Ericsson told Mobile that morale within the company was low and another said that this set back is going to kill them. Sony Ericsson have lost market share and 3rd place to other manufacturers and was hoping that the launch of the Q4 devices – Satio and Aino would help them to regain some of that market share and help to put the company back in to black.

The retail staff are becoming reluctant to selling Sony Ericsson’s because of the massive issues with software surrounding them. Staff remembered the C905 and the K850i both of which were flagship devices and they too had some software troubles.

A spokesperson for Sony Ericsson has stated that they are working extremely hard to resolve any issues and hope to have the handsets back on sale very soon.
