LinkedIn for BlackBerry app has arrived

When we first heard that the LinkedIn for BlackBerry application was available we felt as though we’d won the lottery because unlike some of you teens we are LinkedIn addicts as it’s a gret way to expand your b2b network. So far we’ve tested it on the Bold 9000 and sure enough it worked brilliantly!

LinkedIn for the Apple iPhone has been out for some time now so the Apple fans will probably stick their noses up in the air and surf on by but for us BlackBerry users it’s great news and we love it.

The application gives you the ability to update your status, view your networks, search your current network and even connect with others. A really cool feature is the ability to link your LinkedIn contacts with your contact phone book, reminds me of the Facebook integration on the HTC Hero, it will even pull through peoples profile pictures – which is fantastic!

That’s not all, you can also view and reply to any messages plus you can also see any contact suggestions and reconnect with those lost contacts.
