HTC Smart running Brew
Just when we thought we had seen enough new handsets from the HTC camp they announce that another new handset will be launched called the HTC Smart which will use Qualcomm’s Brew mobile platform rather than Android.
The Brew platform has been previously used by the devices like the INQ and the 3 Skypephone however not many devices launched in the UK have used the platform. Nevertheless the platform is a much cheaper alternative to other smartphone platforms so perhaps the HTC Smart will be a extremely affordable smartphone.
When using the Smart you will come across features such as the brilliant HTC Sense Me which has been featured on the HTC HD2 and the Hero devices. The Smart should be available come Spring 2010.
