T-Mobile get family friendly

T-Mobile UK have been offering their top tier (T1 or T2) customers the iPhone 3G on upgrade if they stated to their Customer Loyalty department that they were leaving to obtain it from either O2,Orange or Vodafone from mid January 2010.

The move by T-Mobile doesn’t come as a shock as they like the other networks probably lost lots of customers due to the popular demand for the iconic and lovable Apple iPhone which launched on O2 in 2008. The network is currently price matching the best tariff offer on the market which is with Vodafone by giving customers 1200 minutes, 500 texts and free internet for £45 per month over 24 months. Opting for this offer will get you the iPhone for free but only a small selection of customers will be able to take advantage of this offer.

When speaking with their Loyalty Department we were informed that the phone will be ordered via one of their partners – Chitter Chatter who operates a call centre in Coulsdon Surrey. Chitter Chatter have reportedly sold thousands a day due to their special arrangement with T-Mobile. As you can expect nothing officially has been announced and you won’t find any information about the offer or deals on neither Chitter Chatter’s nor T-Mobile’s websites.

If you are a T-Mobile customer looking for the iPhone you’ll have to either be a top tier customer or have exceptional negotiation skills; however which ever category you fall in good luck in your quest.
